 Giulio Bortolozzo is a qualified counsellor and works in schools across all education systems. He also works privately as a counsellor specialising in Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy. He works with people of all ages and particularly with young children who may for example have behavioural, anger management or anxiety concerns.
Giulio is also an accredited teacher trainer in Rational Emotive Behaviour Education and his system of REBE based behaviour management has been successfully introduced in many schools locally and nationally. He provides accredited training in Rational Emotive Behaviour Education for parents/carers, teachers and other professional groups e.g. counsellors and mental health workers. He has worked with Dr. Debbie Joffe Ellis, presenting workshops to educators and others in the mental health profession. Dr. Joffe Ellis is the wife of the late Dr. Albert Ellis who created Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy who supported Giulio's work up until his passing in 2007. Dr. Joffe Ellis continues to promote the work of her late husband through her writing and workshop presentations around the globe. Dr Joffe Ellis says:

Giulio has worked closely with Dr. Ken Rigby (University of South Australia) on research into Rational Emotive Behaviour Education as an effective approach to addressing bullying and victim behaviour in schools. He says:
'As a highly skilled exponent of Rational Emotive Behaviour Education, Guilio has repeatedly demonstrated the value of his work in helping school children to cope more effectively with interpersonal conflicts, including bullying and harassment. His work is well supported by research that he and I have undertaken with Australian schoolchildren and presented together at national conferences.'
Giulio is also an accredited tutor in ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher training and has trained teachers and tutors nationally and internationally for many years.
